Since I acquired a national guide-interpreter certificate in 2016, I have conducted more than 600 private tours, showing 3,000 or more guests around in and outside Tokyo. We also visit Kamakura historic town to enjoy the 12-14 century cultural heritage. It’s located outside of Tokyo and takes 1 hour by train. Train fares are around JPY2,000- per adult and the fares for the guide are required as Kamakura is located outside of Tokyo.
•Day trip to Enoshima Island
The small island that was the main venue of sailing in 2020 Tokyo Olympic games locates about 35 miles south away from Tokyo. Once we walk over a bridge to get on the island, Mt. Fuji over the sea may welcome us if the weather allows. Enjoy the panoramic view, historic caves, shrines and fresh seafood.
Ideal numbers of destinations to fit in a tour:
2 sites (w lunch) ~ 3 sites (w/o lunch) comfortably fit in a 4-hour tour.
3-4 sites (w lunch) comfortably in a 6-hour tour.
4-6 sites (w lunch) comfortably in a Full Day tour.
Day trip to Kamakura takes 8 hours.
Day trip to Enoshima Island takes 8 hours.

You accept the terms and conditions shown below and inquire about availability to sign up for a tour(s). You go to CONTACT to fill in the fields of the following:

The conditions for tours
Payment in cash on the spot or PayPal in advance.
Tour fees should be paid prior to tours. Note that should you confirm the terms and conditions in advance.
4~8-hour tours are accepted. Any tour for less than 4 hours is not accepted.
<Tour rates per group: effective from January 1st, 2025>

NOTE: Transportation fares for the guide to Kamakura and the other destinations outside Tokyo are additionally charged.
Transportation fares, lunch/drink and any admission fees are not included.
Tours are mainly carried out by train, subway and bus. Public transportation fare in Tokyo Metropolitan area costs you around JPY1,200- per adult for a tour.
Transportation fare to and back from Kamakura costs around JPY2,500- per adult.
For destinations outside of Tokyo Metropolitan area such as Kamakura, Hakone, Nikko and Kyoto, transportation fares for the guide are separately added to the guiding fee.
The Guide's responsibilities and exemptions
(1) The guide shall not be liable for any accident, loss or damage which the client might suffer as a result of the tour the client agrees to release and indemnify the guide from and against any such claim in that respect as long as the guide performs the one's own obligation in proper manner.
(2) The guide shall not be liable for any negligent or willful act of suppliers of selected destinations, transportation, accommodations and other services, since they are independent contractors and are not the guide's agents or employees.
(3) The guide shall not be liable for client's damages due to such reasons as natural disasters, weather conditions, civil unrest, labor disputes, wars, accidents, government orders and revisions or cancellations of schedule due to transportation facilities and/or traffic congestion, and any cause beyond the guide's control.
