The guide's profile
I have visited many cities in the world since I left to learn English in Australia in my teens. I was fortunate to stay with host families that were nice, kind, generous, thoughtful and warm to me while staying with them. I have not forgotten their hospitality. Unfortunately, I was unable to repay them for their kindness at the time, and so after returning to Japan. I decided to start guiding people from overseas out of gratitude for my host families and the others who had cared for me. My goal is that when you take a tour with me, you will feel the same as you would spending time with a good friend or family member.
My experience working for a European airline company for seven years gave me many opportunities to see more countries and learn about their topography, history and culture. At that time, I felt that I could have learned a lot more if I had had local friends to guide me. This experience inspired me to learn more about my own country and I acquired a national guide-interpreter certificate in 2016. Since then, I have conducted more than 600 private tours showing 3,000 or more guests around in Tokyo. I believe you will enjoy worry-free and comfortable explorations while getting to know Tokyo with me.
Worked as an interpreter at Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
I'd like to be as much a friend as a guide!
Since I acquired a national guide-interpreter certificate in 2016, I have conducted more than 600 private tours, showing 3,000 or more guests around in and outside Tokyo. I have been most grateful to hear positive feedback from my guests who have enjoyed my tours and company. Many clients have been referring their families and friends who plan to visit Japan to me. Thanks to their word-of-mouth recommendation, my tour guiding business has expanded. Now, I am so happy to have many clients from US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Philippines, Columbia, Mexico and more. Please enjoy this website to get great vibes from Tokyo, Japan.
